How long should I heat a Klarity AccuCushion™?
Total heating time varies according to the size of the AccuCushion, ambient room temperature and the heating method. A typical medium Klarity AccuCushion™ will be ready in 10-20 minutes in an oven or 5 minutes/side in a water bath at 165˚F. Manipulate the AccuCushion by hand to be sure that it is completely warmed and easily moldable. AccuCushions can be left in an oven for up to an hour or more at the recommended temperature. They can also be allowed to cool and then be reheated.
Can larger AccuCushions be used in the water bath?

Can Klarity AccuCushions™ be used more than once?
Klarity AccuCushions™ can be reheated and formed again. Specific adjustments can also be made with a hair dryer or heat gun. However, Klarity AccuCushions™ are recommended for single patient use only. Klarity AccuCushions™ are not easily cleaned or disinfected, and body fluids can be unwittingly transferred between patients.
How do I dispose of a Klarity AccuCushion™?
Klarity AccuCushions™ contain no toxic chemicals or components. They can be safely disposed of with normal hospital or household waste.
How long does a Klarity AccuCushion™ take to set up?
Klarity AccuCushions™ have an active working time of 3-4 minutes and will be fully set up in 8-12 minutes, depending on AccuCushion size, thickness and ambient room temperature.
What is the benefit of using a AccuCushion on top of a headrest?
Klarity AccuCushions™ can be customized to fit underneath a patient’s head and neck, allowing for a more highly conformed set-up. Because AccuCushions are customized to each patient and indexed to the headrest or baseplate, they also allow for better reproducibility. Additionally, Klarity AccuCushions are extremely soft and comfortable underneath the patient’s head and neck during set-up and have been shown to help relax patients.
